Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate church restoration and steeplejack projects, including planning, execution, and quality control. Provide mentorship and hands-on training to individuals in our mentorship program, ensuring their safety and skill development. Oversee project safety procedures, including working at heights, to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to meet project objectives and timelines. Inspect church structures and steeples, identify necessary repairs, and develop restoration plans. Travel to project sites around the country and work comfortably at elevated heights. Maintain project documentation, including progress reports and budgets. Foster a supportive and inclusive work environment, promoting personal and professional growth among team members.

Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with strong knowledge of construction techniques, safety protocols, and equipment. Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and motivate individuals from diverse backgrounds. Willingness to work at heights and travel to project sites. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to new challenges and learn about church restoration and steeplejack work. Supervisor in Training

Created 12/6/2024 Summary: We’re currently looking for someone to train as a steeplejack that will be on a fast track to supervise their own crew. The potential foremen will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership and construction skills as they undergo training as steeplejacks on real church restoration projects. There will be rapid advancement for the right person.

Duties and Responsibilities: This position is a fast track to a foreman position. The foreman is a part of the working crew and must be experienced in various forms of construction. They are responsible to accomplish the company objectives by meeting work, safety and cost standards; providing work direction and personal mentorship to the crew. Members of the crew may consist of individuals who participate in our company’s mentorship program and are looking to learn a trade as they turn their lives around. Projects may include plaster, paint, carpentry, masonry, sheet metal, roofing and etc. As a working foreman they are to be an active part of every project; working with and besides the people they are supervising and training. They are responsible for meeting work requirements by orienting, training, assigning and coaching employees. Maintaining work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and skills training provided by the company.

Applicants must have construction experience, willing to travel and be comfortable working with heights.

Education and Experience: Have construction experience (not necessarily as a supervisor). Must be skilled with hand and power tools. 2. Be comfortable with heights (we’ll train for rigging – a lot of our work involves steeples 100’-200’ tall). Rigging and high work experience a plus 3. Be willing and able to travel 4.
